Z_Depth in Photoshop and After Effects
How to do it in six easy steps

Z_depth gives you control over your DOF, depth of field. You can select where to put your focus and how blurred the image will be.
Z_DEPTH IN PHOTOSHOP
1. Open your saved files in Photoshop.

2. Choose Channels. Click create new channel.

3. Select your z_depth file.
Choose Select All and File/Copy or Ctrl A and Ctrl C

4. Mark Alpha1 channel.
Choose File/Paste or Ctrl V

5. Click RGB and uncheck the Alpha1 channel

6. Select the Filter/Blur/LensBlur
Check that Depth Map source is set to Alpha 1
Tweak the Blur Focal Distanse and set the focal point
Iris set to Hexagon (recommended)
and tweak the Radius to set the blur amount.
